Mimi and Papa Mark came into town on Thursday afternoon. We had an action packed weekend ahead of us. On Friday, we went to a friend's birthday party and out to dinner at the Blue Tractor downtown Ann Arbor. The Blue Tractor has some great BBQ and micro brews! The next day, Saturday, was a really big day. It was Emily's birthday bash! The kids all had such a great time. There were slip-n-slides, bounce houses, pools, water slides etc. The best part was that all of the kids stayed outside!!! We had a lot of friends and family over to make it a great day.

After the party, we went to the Lions vs. Falcons pre-season game. It was a great time and Ben kept yelling, "Go Falcons!" Thank goodness he was a cute little boy because the adults would not have been received as well as he was!
Sunday morning, after a great night's rest, we went back into Ann Arbor. We had an incredibly filling brunch. Ben downed 3 huge pancakes! I highly recommend going to Angelo's for brunch. Good sized plates for good prices!
Later that evening we indulged in DQ - or at least the kids did. Mimi told Em that this was her last DQ night with Mimi. Em replied, "Thats O.K. I have cupcakes at home." Too funny!
